Black Bean Brownies

Do you have a love for rich, decadent brownies but wish they were a bit healthier?

I definitely love a good brownie but don’t necessarily like the way I feel after eating one.

Well, problem solved after discovering Chocolate Covered Katie’s Black Bean Brownies. Imagine creamy, flavorful, and fudge-like. They are easy to make and are a great healthy dessert to boot. Katie really knows what she is doing!

If you are hesitant to try them, don’t worry, you cannot taste the black beans. The first time I tried this recipe, my husband was quite skeptical, but after tasting the brownies, he ended up really liking them. Yep, these are Justin tried and approved! šŸ˜›

Notes:
-I increased the maple syrup to 1/2 cup as suggested rather than using 1/3 cup of maple syrup and white sugar or stevia.
-I used coconut oil.
-I used 1/2 cup of chocolate chips.
-I have made these brownies multiple times and therefore have used both a food processor and a high speed blender. Although my food processor does not make the batter as creamy as my blender does, the end result was, as Katie stated, better when using a food processor.
