Workout #9 Burning Abs

Good evening, or night by now.

I apologize for posting late again. I originally planned to post a yoga workout today but the first half of that workout is still uploading to YouTube and I haven’t even started uploading part 2. By the time it is finished uploading, it will have been about 8 hours. Yikes! That being said, I filmed an ab workout that is uploading as I type up this post and I should be able to publish in an hour or two. The great thing about this whole process is that I can set part 2 to upload before heading to bed tonight and it should be ready by tomorrow. At least I hope this is possible. Cross your fingers for a morning post!

Today’s workout involves 4 exercises that engage the abdominal muscles (among other muscles of the body) in different ways. X-legs dolphin plank works some of the surface muscles as well as some of the deeper abdominal muscles by engaging the rectus abdominis and tranversus abdominis. Side plank focuses on both the internal and external obliques and frog legs targets the lower portion of the rectus abdominis. Your abs will be on fire! In a good way of course. =-)

One more thing. Is anyone else excited about fall?! I am super excited for some cooler weather. That consists of temperatures in the 80’s and possibly high 70’s during the day here in Texas but I will take what I can get! I know today is already the second day of the month but Happy October!

Workout #9
-12 minutes total/3 rounds
-4 exercises
-50 seconds exercise/10 seconds rest

Exercises
1) x-legs dolphin plank
2) side plank right
3) side plank left
4) frog legs

Directions
Complete the video 3 times for a total of 3 rounds. If you are unsure how to perform a certain exercise, watch the demonstration video for that specific exercise (links are listed below video).
