Move It Monday – Lunchtime Office Yoga Routine

I hope all of you had a wonderful Monday! Did you do something to get moving? If you are willing to share below, I’d love to hear! 🙂

Do you guys ever have one of those days where you have plans to exercise after you get home from work? As the day goes on, things get crazy, your energy fades away and you end up crashing on the couch when you get home. Exercise left as an idea, never put into action. I think it happens to the best of us. Sitting at a desk can make it hard to stay awake while creating tight, achy muscles. Today’s routine was created to do while you are at work, in your office; on your lunch break, or whenever you can free up 15 minutes. When putting together the Lunchtime Office Yoga Routine, I tried to include poses that can be done by almost anyone in an office. That includes those wearing a pencil skirt and high heels! Next time you find yourself nodding off, take 15, give this routine a go and see if you then feel better equipped to tackle the rest of your day. You might still crash on the couch when you get home but at least you can crash knowing that you moved your body a little bit earlier in the day. On the other hand, you might find that you have extra energy and tackle your evening workout like a boss! 😉
