Tone and Tighten Yoga

I hope your week is going well so far. 🙂 My week is going great. I have been experimenting with both coconut and olive oil in various ways and have had some awesome results!

The coconut experiments are still in motion so I will keep that to myself until I have final results but I have got to tell you guys about my olive oil experience.

This all started when I was on Pinterest. Don’t you just love all of the awesome ideas you can find whether you were specifically looking for them or not?

As I was scrolling through Pinterest, the words soft, silky legs in a bottle caught my eye. I pinned the idea and forgot about it. Yesterday, I ran across the idea again and had the urge to give the body scrub a try. Boy am I glad I did!

I generally exfoliate my legs with St. Ive’s Apricot Scrub before shaving and use shaving cream to protect my legs. Additionally, I am one of those people that cannot take a shower without putting lotion on when I get out. I do not like dry skin. I thought I was doing all I could to achieve smooth legs. Let’s just say that I couldn’t have been any more wrong. After using the silky leg scrub, I was left with glowing, smooth, moisturized legs that I couldn’t stop touching. I couldn’t wait for my husband to come home so that he could feel how soft they were! The olive oil did such a great job of moisturizing my legs that I didn’t even have to apply lotion after my shower. Bonus!

The scrub consists of 3 simple ingredients that you probably have in your home. Olive oil, sugar, and lemon juice. Head on over to One Good Thing By Jillee to find the ingredient measurements as well as directions. The only modification I made was using fresh lime juice rather than bottled lemon juice.

If you give it a try, I would love to hear about your experience!

Tone and Tighten Yoga

Tone and Tighten Yoga is fun, challenging, and a little out of the ordinary. You will tone and tighten your body by performing basic yoga poses paired with some jumps, squeezes, flexes, and pushes. I had a ton of fun performing the sequencing. I hope you enjoy it every bit as much as I did!

One more thing. Thanks to those of you who have been commenting! I love hearing your feedback. It helps me get a feel for what you like so that I can channel my energy towards new workouts that suit your needs. 🙂

  • this was a great strengthener, I really felt it in my upper body. Now that it’s nicer out I’ve taken my cardio outside but I do my toning with your yoga videos. I’d love to see some 30 minute yoga routines that I can squeeze into my busier days. Otherwise, keep the great stuff coming.

    • Hi Helen,

I am so glad that you enjoyed the workout. Yay for nice weather! Working outside is the best. It is almost like you get a happiness high times 2! One from exercising and one from being outdoors. 🙂

I will definitely plan a shorter yoga routine soon. Thank you for your request!
