Workout #17 Toned Butt and Legs

Hi. I hope you have had a wonderful Monday as well as a great weekend!

Justin and I traveled to Arlington to visit some of our friends from college who are expecting their first baby soon!

These two are going to be great parents. So excited for them!

Before heading out of town, we got to have lunch with my cousin, Alison. Justin likes to take pictures of people when they aren’t aware so lets just say, blurry but fun times!

On the way home Sunday, we needed gas and found a cool gas station called Cooper’s Farm Country Store.

The gas pumps were decorated with pumpkins and squash and rather than the usual convenience store items, they had produce, homemade peach baked goods and peach soft serve ice cream. The produce was beautiful and apparently, they sell their tomatoes and peaches to Whole Foods. I hope to stop by again during peach season!

Now, to get down to business. Workout #17 Toned Butt and Legs focuses on your arms. Just kidding. 😉 You can tell by the title that you are going to be toning both the butt and the legs and that I need some humor lessons. Out of the included exercises, curtsy squats are my favorite. They are super fun and are great at working the butt and targeting the sides of the thigh. If you are a woman, enjoy the dainty pose. For the men out there, embrace your femininity and lift that dress!

Workout #17
-18 minutes total/3 rounds
-6 exercises
-50 seconds exercise/10 seconds rest

1) curtsy squat right
2) curtsy squat left
3) squat jacks
4) squat side kick right
5) squat side kick left
6) squat walk forward and backward

Complete the video for one round. Play the video again for round two and three. Feel free to add additional rounds if desired! If you are unsure how to perform a certain exercise, watch the demonstration video for that specific exercise.
